Children and young people

Von Stockert and company members have led creative dance workshops and worked with children and young people in a variety of settings, such as schools, conservatoires and arts venues. Many of the workshop programmes are attached to the company’s touring work and can take place within a festival, theatre or exhibition context.  All workshops are tailored to the participants’ physical skills, experience and age. Previous engagement examples include: specifically designed schools workshop programmes that engage with themes from the curriculum; participation of school children and young people with and without previous dance experience in the company’s outdoor work Belonging(s); workshops for CAT students (Centre for Advanced Training); and choreographies for young people and student performance groups.
