Participation Opportunity
Expérience 49 – a new association in Baugé-en-Anjou that works across art forms and combines contemporary dance and visual art, object manipulation and film – offers a series of creative workshops that transform everyday gestures and movements into vivid and inventive images.
The workshops are conceived for an intergenerational group (minimum age: 8 years old, maximum age: unlimited). No previous arts experience or physical skills are required – all that is needed is an open mind and curiosity!
The programme is led by choreographer, filmmaker and visual artist Maresa von Stockert, who has been working internationally for over 25 years, accompanied by a performer from her new work-in-progress Venu and Parti. The workshops will be inspired by and play with themes of Venu and Parti : different notions of home, identity and family that constantly change with age and circumstances. Participants will be introduced to the company’s working processes in a playful way as they explore artistic ideas and use the set and props of the new creation.
Participants are welcome, but not required, to register for all workshops. The programme will be designed to allow progression for those who wish to attend each time, as well as easy integration for newcomers at any time.
The workshops are free of charge. Spaces are limited – please reserve your place by emailing contact@experience49.fr.
