An intergenerational workshop programme combining movement, theatre and film in Baugé-en-Anjou!
Expérience 49 is offering five workshops for participants from age 8 upwards and with no age limit, from November 2023 to February 2024. No previous artistic experience or physical ability is required – all that is needed is an open mind and curiosity!
Playing with gestures, everyday movements and spatial awareness, the workshops playfully explore a variety of perspectives on notions of home, identity and family. These themes inspire the long-term artistic project Venu et Parti directed by Maresa von Stockert. The filmmaker, choreographer and visual artist will lead the workshops, combining different art forms and using familiar objects, movements and spaces in unusual ways that provoke thoughts and the imagination.
Venu et Parti, consisting of an exhibition, film and performance, is due to be presented in Baugé en Anjou in 2025 before touring nationally and internationally. Further workshop programmes will be organised in the spring and autumn of next year for those wishing to take part in the film and/or accompanying exhibition, which will feature local people from Baugé-en-Anjou alongside professional performers.

Participants are welcome, but not obliged, to register for all workshops. The programme will be designed to allow progression for those who have already participated, as well as easy integration for newcomers at any time.
